Copley of Boston, Members exhibit

Red Raven gallery owner asked me to paint many of her customers with my style,
I spent at least nine months doing it and enjoying the process while matching the faces with flowers and interesting compositions
I just sent the paintings to Pennsylvania plus 10 more of the ones I had painted before that match the ladies, hats and flowers theme!
Here are some of them

This year my paintings were selected into these two prestigious Juried Exhibit but the firstg one, because of Covid, was only shown online which was disappointing, in view of the scale of my painting which was big !
Anyway, here are the two paintings that were shown in these Exhibits!
It was such a wonderful trip to Provincetown this July for the Opening and Reception of my Art Show exhibit I shared with Michael Palmer. Michael came from Ogunquit, Maine and I came from Hollis, NH
My friends and artists, Jacqui Hawk and Hsiu Norcott came with me for the boat trip that took us from Boston to Provincetown for the day. Since the Opening was not till 6.30 pm, we took a tour of all the Art galleries on the coast and enjoyed meeting new gallery owners. First Friday of every month is always a great time in Provincentown where all the galleries open for the night! It is a time of celebration, meeting new people and looking at Art

The demo went well I guess since i got this very nice email afterwards!!!
Hello Marilene, I just wanted to let you know that I thoroughly enjoyed your presentation at the Greater Salem Art Association meeting last night. Your work is phenomenal and I love your style. Your words have inspired me to be more adventurous in my painting! I only wish you had been given a proper introduction, for your work and many honors should have been given the consideration they are due. Thank you for sharing with us! Kathy Trombly
Two demos in two weeks to demonstrate how I paint and use casein
In Hollis I showed at least 5o paintings done in 35 years. They were projected on a screen, then showed the different effects I get with Acrylics, Acrylic gouache and Casein
I did the same in Lowell minus the slide projection but of course at the Brush with History my paintings are on the walls!
